Revenge of the Visitors

So it's been several weeks since I wrote anything. That was because we had some visitors. My brother and his family visited us from Heidelberg, Germany for 19 days over the Christmas and New Year's holidays. We had a blast and did a TON of activities. Too many to write about individually, but here is what they did (some things together and some things on their own - - in no particular order):

-China Town
-Buenos Aires Bus Tour
-Recoleta to visit Evita's (Eva Peron) Mausoleum
-Plaza San Martin (where they had the "best" empanadas near Retiro)
-Overnighter to Iguazu Falls (they left their 3 kids with us)
-Temaiken Bioparque
-Buenos Aires Zoo
-La Ventana Tango Show
-Boca Soccer Stadium and Museum
-Santa Susana Estancia (complete with horseback riding)
-Day trip to La Plata
-Day trip to Tigre
-Mission Impossible IV
-Lots of swimming in the pool
-Several nights playing games
-Several episodes (they have 3 boys) of Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness
-Christmas (up late with firework show)
-New Year's on a friend's roof with fireworks
-BYU Victory over Tulsa
-Visit to the leather district to purchase some gaucho hats
-Dinner out to steakhouse
-Dinner out to trendy part of Buenos Aires
-Visit to San Martin's Mausoleum
-Rock Climbing Wall

The below picture was taken on Christmas Eve 2011 in the pool in our backyard. Uncle Mike, Uncle Dave, and cousins Ben, Zach, Chris, Claire, and Sam. If I remember right, that was the coldest day of the visit... about 90 degrees.
